DEEPIKA PADUKONE AND BOLLYWOOD

I have had a really exciting summer working on BOLLYWOOD!
It just came up unexpectantly in June with a phonecall beacuse someone had seen my website www.miraparmarmakeup.com and BINGO I got my first job on a big Bollywood Feature film

I have been working with Deepika Padukone for this film and it will hopefully release in February 2012 - WATCH THIS SPACE

She is so lovely inside and out and I'm looking forward to working with her again in a months time! :)

We shot in the UK for some time, then went out to India to shoot and am shortly heading out to South Africa for the final part of the film.... Its been long days but lovely teams and a fab experience....

here are a few behind the scenes pics and a couple of the hairstyles I chose...

THE SWINGING 60'S

Did a fab shoot on a very sunny day a while back with the lovely www.cecilieharris.co.uk
The inspirations was the 60's and hippy chick, I did both the hair and make up on this shoot and really loved the outcome... see for yourself it was recently published....
enjoy

LOVELY BEAUTY IN JUNE.....

LOVELY SUMMER MONTHS.....
June was a busy month for me... here are a couple of bits I did in June...

Beauty: some behind the scenes and then a final shot with a very lovely photographer called Kristina and fab model called Eva.

There were 2 looks:

1 - really clean and commercial like
I started with a clean Bobbi Brown base and concealer and contoured and highlighted the face to make the most of evas structure, I used single lashes by salon systems to perfect her eyelashes and then a nude Givenchy on the lips - see what you think

something all make up artists should have in their kits is the HD Brows palette, the pigments are amazing and I would never leave the house without it!
check it out www.hd-brows.co.uk

The second look was more of a classic red lip and velvet falwless skin
I used benefits' Hoola as a contour, NARS Jungle Red for the lips and strobe cream as the highlights.

I wanted the hair to be really smooth and with a simple wave which I created with a Babyliss wand, some bumble and bumble smoothing creme and lots of brushing out with a mason and pearson! : )

Here is the final result

ITS BEEN A WHILE.... SORRY GUYS! ITS BEEN A BUSY SUMMER

I'm back, its been a manic summer and I have so many things to tell you about!
I've been working in India, New York and am due to head out to South Africa in a month...
